Our Team

  • Bonnie Jo Largen, President

I am a second-generation Alaskan and proud of it. My life and my dreams are in Alaska. I have volunteered with various organizations in Fairbanks and some in Anchorage. Some of my volunteer time has been with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program (BBBS) as a big sister. I have helped raise money for the Bowl For Kids' sake for the BBBS program. I also volunteered for the Fabulous Feminist Fundraiser, which raised money for families and women's rights. I have attended this event since I was 16 with my Big Sister from Big Brothers Big Sisters, Cynthia Klepaski. She has shown me through various ways that volunteering with your community can fill one's heart. I have volunteered time with United Way in Anchorage and Fairbanks. I also played in local event sports, including hockey, softball, and curling. I have organized a few events throughout my career, including our quarterly business review, golf tournaments, and an open house that included the national and Alaskan delegations. I am now the President of the Fabulous Feminist. I am so excited about what we can do for our community through the donations we get with the Fabulous Feminist Fundraiser.

  • Patrick Roach, Chairman

Patrick Roach moved to Fairbanks from Rhode Island in 1996 and graduated from UAF and UAS. He was a public school teacher for a decade, but now works as an assistant public defender.

  • Treasurer

    Jennifer Redmond, Treasurer

Alaska is my home, and I want to make it a place for future generations to live, grow, and be accepted. That is why I am the Treasurer of the Fabulous Feminists. I believe in our mission and that it is essential to further intersectional feminist change together. I have lived in Alaska most of my life in Fairbanks and, more recently, Anchorage. Professionally, I have over ten years of Grant Administration experience and work in the non-profit sector. My sister Kristina Miller and I helped with several marches and demonstrations in Fairbanks, such as the March for our Lives in 2019 and the Roe Ralley in the Summer of 2022. I enjoy volunteering, giving back to my community, and participating in community events and recreation. I have been on the Board of Directors of Breadline Inc. since 2020 and the treasurer since 2021.
